Ten clubs from across Cameroon are set to enter teams into the upcoming Cameroon Rugby League XIII Nines – Juniors competition this year.

The multi-event competition, which kicks off on April 12 at Stade Annexe in Yaoundé, will feature both boys and girls teams in what will be one of the first organised Junior Rugby League competitions held in Central Africa.

Taking part in the competition includes four teams from the national capital of Yaoundé, teams from the communes of Babadjou, Mbouda and Bandjoun in the Ouest province plus two teams from Cameroon’s largest city, Douala, in the Littoral province.

Teams for the Junior Rugby League Nines competition are:

  • Babadjou
  • Bandjoun
  • Douala Gorrilas
  • Douala Rock
  • Institut Petou
  • Nyeté Bulls
  • Mbouda
  • Yaoundé Bulls
  • Yaoundé Raiders
  • Yaoundé Cheetahs
