The Cameroon Rugby League Championship has received a significant boost just days out from the competition launch with the Niete Bulls set to join.

Based in the Sud (South) Province, near the Equatorial Guinea border, Niete’s participation sees the inaugural Cameroon Championship expand to six clubs.

The Cameroon Championship will kick off with a double header on April 14 at the Stade Annexe in Yaoundé featuring the Douala Black Boys, Yaoundé Bulls, Institut Petou and Babadjou.

The competition will see the the Niete Bulls and Garoua Sahel clubs to join in the later rounds before the finals take place in June.
